Hello Kiddos Palace Families,
Please Read- (Subsidy Payments)
Just a little FYI, for you to know if you are receiving childcare benefits. DSS Does not cover any miscellaneous fees such as the fees listed below. All parents/guardians are responsible and required to pay for these particular fees:
-DSS DO NOT cover Registration Fees
-DSS DO NOT cover Accured Late Fees
-DSS DO NOT cover Transportation Fees
-DSS DO NOT cover any Miscellaneous Fees
-Per Calender year DSS ONLY covers up to 80 Absences/missed Days
*anything after that the parent/guardian is responsible for the remaining balance
-DSS can’t tell any provider how to operate their business. The contract that you read and sign before sending your child(ren) to program is a bonded contract between you and the daycare, and has nothing to with DSS.
*at any given time if the provider wants or needs to cancel your contract without notice ( It can be done), the provider does not have to reach out to DSS.
If your contract is canceled, it does not mean that your subsidy is discontinued it just means that the provider has chosen not to continue doing business with you and should seek a new daycare program for your child(ren) to attend.
You can reach out to Childcare Council for any questions or concerns. The Childcare Council also can provide you with a list of other providers in your area.
Best regards,
The Kiddos Palace
